Hire of Lynworth Hall
Lynworth Hall is a village hall in character. Lynworth Hall is available to hire for community activities taking place on a regular basis. The sort of community activity booking Lynworth Hall takes is for charity events, special interest clubs, children's activity events and community information events. Fitness instructors will find Lynworth Hall suitable for hire mat-based fitness sessions such as yoga and pilates and also things like mini trampoline (rebounder) fitness sessions.
Hire information
Lynworth Hall is available for hire at an hourly rate. A minimum charge equivalent to a 2 hour hire applies. Hire includes use of the kitchen. Your setting up beforehand and cleaning up afterwards will need to be included in your hire time.
The garden space at Lynworth Hall can be used for outdoor activities in the summer. This is May to September only because of the changeable weather in other months. Please note that Lynworth Hall is not large enough inside for a bouncy castle. There is a surcharge for bouncy castle use - see note below.
Party bookings are only accepted for Saturday and not any other day.
Hire charge - summer
"Summer" is for May to September inclusive. The assumption is no heating is used in these months. This applies from May 1st 2023.
- Hourly rate one-off event, e.g. birthday party: £10.00.
- Hourly rate weekly event, e.g. music practice: £7.50.
Hire charge - winter
"Winter" is for October to March inclusive, with heating. This applies from October 1st 2022.
- Hourly rate one-off event, e.g. birthday party: £17.50.
- Hourly rate weekly event, e.g. music practice: £15.00.
Hire charge - April
The charge for April hire is weather dependent. If it is a cold April, the winter hire charge rate applies.
Electricity use for bouncy castles
If a bouncy castle is to be used and plugged in to Lynworth Hall, the charge is £10. (No bouncy castles allowed from October to March inclusive.)
